Welcome to Lizard class
Lizard class is one of two classes in Year 1.



Babbage! (new pupil)

We are happy to welcome a new pupil to Lizard class. Babbage Bear is a big fan of the Raspberry Pi computer. He even has a backpack with LEDs and other electronic parts in it. He is named after Charles Babbage, a 19th century pioneer of computing.
Tests!
Lizard class have been doing tests this week, mainly in maths. They don't particularly like doing them.

Christmas elves
The children and teachers enjoyed making funny elves using their own photo for the face and adding dangly legs.

Christmas lunch
The children enjoyed a Christmas lunch at the carvery. Hacker loved the selection of meats. Fozzie told a joke he found in his cracker.


Santa's grotto visit !
The children from Hamster and Lizard classes enjoyed seeing Father Christmas. They told him what they wanted for Christmas. Hacker asked for a luxury selection of meat paste. Sooty wanted a new magic wand. Fozzie asked for a new joke book! Elmo asked for some toy cars. Here are some pictures of Santa's grotto:
Spooky nightmare tunnel!
Hamster and Lizard classes made a spooky Halloween tunnel. Mrs Lightfoot and Mrs Jive were scared. Mrs Jive said she didn't want to walk any further at the start!
Wimborne Model Town visit
The children enjoyed a visit to the world famous Wimborne Model Town. They did a treasure hunt.

Playground visit
Hacker and Fozzie enjoyed a trip to Lytchett Matravers playground, called Rocket Park! Hacker fell off the zipwire, but he was all right.
